One In An ARMY is extremely proud to announce the results of our June 2023 flash campaign, Ten More To Come, benefiting FarmAbility in honor of FESTA 2023!
FarmAbility is a UK-based Organization that provides people over the age of sixteen with learning disabilities or who are on the autism spectrum the chance to participate in an outdoor farming environment.
The co-farmers work in small groups, supported by staff, volunteers, and students. They grow vegetables, manage orchards, learn animal husbandry, and other seasonal farm tasks.
For this campaign 455 ARMY raised $13,445.60! This money helped open additional places on their farm-based program.
- Provided trained staff to safely support each participant
- Purchased essential tools and safety equipment for outdoor activities
- Offered refreshments so participants can spend meaningful time on-site
A Message from the NGO: “When BTS ARMY came together in June to raise funds for our work we didn’t know what to expect. We were absolutely bowled over by what they achieved. For a small, local charity in one corner of England to receive the support and good wishes from people all over the world was an incredible experience for all of our co-farmers, volunteers, and staff. We would just like to say the biggest thank you to each and every ARMY who shared the campaign, donated and sent us warm and encouraging messages. It meant a huge amount and we felt like we had friends all over the globe.”
